Ray-Ban has introduced the Meta (Gen 2) smart glasses in India, offering enhanced video capture, longer battery performance, and updated Meta AI features. The glasses are available starting at INR 39,900 across Ray-Ban India outlets and major eyewear retailers. The latest generation builds on the first version with 3K Ultra HD video recording, ultrawide HDR, and new creative modes such as hyperlapse and slow motion, which will arrive through upcoming software updates. Users can expect up to eight hours of battery life, fast charging to half capacity in 20 minutes, and extended usage through a charging case that adds up to 48 hours of power.

The collection includes Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner frames, along with seasonal color options like Shiny Cosmic Blue, Shiny Mystic Violet, and Shiny Asteroid Grey. Meta AI has been refreshed with more practical features, supporting Hindi voice interactions and offering better voice clarity in noisy environments. The assistant can respond to queries, manage media, and help with hands-free tasks. Meta has also rolled out Celebrity AI Voice, including an option featuring Deepika Padukone. Additionally, UPI Lite payments are being tested, allowing users to scan QR codes and complete transactions directly through the glasses using WhatsApp-linked accounts.
