Recognition Highlights Accessibility Initiatives and Global Participation
Panasonic has received the Zero Project Award 2026 for its Inclusive Design initiatives, recognizing efforts to advance accessibility and disability inclusion.
The award is organized by the Zero Project, founded by the Essl Foundation, which promotes solutions aligned with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The 2026 edition focused on “ICT and Accessibility” and saw 586 submissions from 93 countries. Following an evaluation process involving around 400 experts, 75 initiatives from 51 countries were selected. Panasonic’s initiatives were among those recognized.
The company’s Inclusive Design approach spans products, services, and organizational practices, with a focus on collaboration with people with disabilities, experts, and partners to address real-world needs.
