Samsung Electronics has been recognized for design excellence at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2025, earning two Gold, three Silver, and three Bronze awards, along with 39 Finalist recognitions across categories such as Home, Consumer Technology, and Digital Interaction.
Among the Gold winners was the Samsung Mobile Design Visual Identity System, which unifies Galaxy devices under a consistent design language extending from products to packaging, films, and retail experiences. Another Gold honor went to Samsung Inclusive Essentials, an accessibility-driven design for home appliances that enhances usability for visually impaired and elderly users through standardized shapes, colors, embossing, sound, and lighting cues.
The Silver awards recognized innovations such as the Galaxy Tab S10 Series with AI-powered 3D Map View for SmartThings management, the Samsung Smart Modular House concept designed for flexible, AI-driven living, and Digital Twin, a b.IoT solution enabling intuitive building management and energy optimization.
Bronze awards went to the Galaxy S24 FE for democratizing premium design and AI-powered photography, Samsung Vision AI Onscreen Story for branding innovation, and the EHS MONO heat pump system with AI Home energy management.
Additionally, 39 designs including the Galaxy Z Fold6 & Flip6, Smart Monitor M9, and Bespoke AI Laundry Hubwere recognized as finalists, highlighting Samsung’s commitment to innovation that blends advanced technology with user-centered experiences.
