LG Electronics will unveil compressor solutions designed for the Indian market at ACREX 2026 taking place from March 12 to 14 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

The company will present locally manufactured rotary and reciprocating compressors developed for residential air conditioners and refrigerators. The solutions are designed to support India’s transition toward higher energy efficiency standards and inverter based cooling systems.

LG’s showcase will include three application zones. The Residential HVAC zone will feature rotary compressors designed for 1 to 2 ton air conditioning systems widely used in Indian homes. The Refrigeration zone will present compact compressors for 150 to 200 liter refrigerators. The Commercial HVAC zone will highlight scroll compressors for larger cooling systems with capacities up to 27 tons.

The compressors displayed at the event are manufactured in India as part of LG’s support for the Make in India initiative. LG currently operates a production facility in Noida and is building a new plant in Sri City which is expected to start operations in 2027.
