Siemens Expands Industrial AI Push with New Technologies and Alibaba Partnership

Siemens Strengthens Industrial AI Ecosystem with New Products and Alibaba Collaboration

Siemens has expanded its industrial AI strategy with new technologies and a deeper partnership with Alibaba Group, announced at its RXD Summit in Beijing.

The company introduced 26 new technologies across edge computing, automation and control systems aimed at enabling AI-driven decision making in industrial environments. These solutions support manufacturing, infrastructure and supply chain operations.

As part of the partnership, Siemens and Alibaba Cloud will deliver cloud-based engineering tools, allowing companies to access simulation and high-performance computing capabilities more efficiently. The collaboration will also explore integration of Alibaba’s AI models into Siemens’ software platforms.

Siemens also unveiled new infrastructure technologies to support AI data centers, including power distribution systems, circuit breakers and AI-powered cooling solutions designed to improve energy efficiency.

In manufacturing, new automation systems and AI-powered applications such as predictive maintenance aim to improve operational performance and reduce downtime.
