Sunny Madra joins NVIDIA as Vice President – Hardware

Sunny Madra has joined NVIDIA as Vice President Hardware and is based in Santa Clara. In this role he will focus on advancing AI infrastructure and hardware development to support large scale accelerated computing. He brings experience across hardware, AI platforms and enterprise technology.

Before joining NVIDIA he worked at Groq where he served as Chief Operating Officer and President. There he oversaw sales, supply chain, operations and the hardware organization. His move follows a period of collaboration between NVIDIA and Groq focused on AI inference at scale.

Earlier in his career he co founded Definitive Intelligence which was acquired by Groq. He also co founded Autonomic which was later acquired by Ford Motor Company where he served as Vice President Ford X and led innovation programs and partnerships with Google and Amazon Web Services. He has held leadership roles at Pivotal Software and co founded Xtreme Labs which was acquired by Pivotal. Alongside his executive roles he has been active as an angel investor through The Angel Collective with investments across technology focused companies and funds.
