Toshiba Corporation has been named to the Climate Change A List for 2025 by CDP. This is the second year in a row that Toshiba has received the highest rating in the Climate Change category.

CDP runs a global environmental disclosure system used by companies and governments to assess and manage climate impact. Its reporting framework is widely used as a reference for environmental transparency.

Toshiba Group has identified climate change response as a key business priority. Under its Environmental Future Vision 2050, the company aims to achieve carbon neutrality at its offices and factories by fiscal year 2030 and across its full value chain by fiscal year 2050. These goals were validated in 2024 by the Science Based Targets initiative as net zero targets.

To move toward these objectives, Toshiba is investing in energy efficient equipment and increasing the use of renewable energy at its facilities. The group is also offering products and services that support greenhouse gas reduction across society and is working more closely with suppliers to cut emissions across the supply chain.
