Vaikunth Ganapathy Appointed Head – Sales Transformation at Onida

Vaikunth Ganapathy has been appointed Head – Sales Transformation at Onida effective March 2026. Based in Mumbai he will lead the transformation of the company’s sales architecture focusing on channel management go to market strategy and sell out optimization as the brand works to strengthen its position in the consumer durables market.

Ganapathy brings more than three decades of experience across consumer electronics white goods and water management industries. Before joining Onida he served as Head of Sales and Service at AS Moloobhoy where he helped deliver 25% year on year growth.

Earlier he spent a decade at Eureka Forbes where he held roles including Business Head – New Categories and Marketing Head – Retail contributing to the growth of the Aquaguard brand and expanding market presence.

His career also includes an eight year tenure at LG Electronics where he helped scale turnover from ₹60 crore to ₹110 crore. He also held earlier sales roles at Blue Star Limited and Usha International gaining experience in sales strategy distributor networks and market expansion.
