Siemens Introduces LOGO! 9 Compact Logic Controller for Automation

Siemens introduced LOGO! 9, the latest generation of its compact logic controller designed for building automation and small industrial automation projects. The system will be available starting April 1, 2026.

LOGO! 9 offers improved processing capacity with up to 800 function blocks, double the capacity of the previous generation. The controller supports expanded input and output capacity with up to 64 digital inputs, 60 digital outputs and 16 analog inputs and outputs.

The new controller includes a color touchscreen display with 320 × 240 resolution on the base module for monitoring and diagnostics. An optional 4.3 inch text display with Ethernet connectivity is also available.

Siemens also introduced LOGO! Soft Comfort V9 software with plug and play setup and cross platform support including Windows, macOS and Linux. The software includes user management features and web based tools for system configuration and simulation.

The system also includes security features such as secure boot and protected communication.
