Vikram Solar 10 GW Deployment Marks Growth in Global Solar Market

Vikram Solar has crossed 10 GW in cumulative global solar module deployments, marking a key milestone in its growth.

The deployment is equivalent to over 25 million solar modules and can power more than 5 million Indian homes. The company doubled its capacity from 5 GW to 10 GW in two years, reflecting increasing demand and expansion.

While most installations are in India, Vikram Solar has extended its presence globally with around 1.5 GW exports across 39 countries.

The company has contributed to India’s solar sector growth, which has surpassed 150 GW capacity. It has also been involved in early projects such as solar-powered airports and floating solar installations.

Vikram Solar currently has 9.5 GW manufacturing capacity and is expanding further with new facilities and backward integration plans. It is also entering energy storage through battery solutions and grid-scale systems.
