VinSpeed High-Speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, a member of Vingroup, has signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Framework Agreement with Siemens Mobility to support high-speed rail development in Vietnam. The agreement establishes a broad cooperation covering trains, rail systems, and long-term services for the country’s planned high-speed network.

Under the partnership, Siemens Mobility will act as a technology partner and will be responsible for the design, supply, and integration of Velaro Novo high-speed trains. The scope also includes key rail infrastructure subsystems such as ETCS Level 2 signaling with automatic train operation, telecommunications, and electrification systems. These elements are intended to support safe operations, reliable performance, and interoperability aligned with international standards.

The collaboration also explores opportunities for Siemens Mobility to provide advanced maintenance services aimed at maintaining high system availability over the lifecycle of the network. Both companies stated that the agreement lays the groundwork for future implementation contracts as Vietnam advances its high-speed rail program.
