Mercedes-Benz AG is expanding its partnership with Microsoft to introduce new digital productivity features in its vehicles, starting with the upcoming CLA model. The update includes an enhanced version of the Microsoft Teams Meetings app, native integration of Microsoft Intune and plans to bring Microsoft 365 Copilot into its operating system, MB.OS.

The upgraded Teams app allows drivers to use the car’s in-built camera during meetings while driving, with safety measures in place to prevent distraction such as disabling content sharing on the screen. Features like a calendar-linked dashboard, quick contact access, voice-to-text input and chat functionality aim to make remote collaboration more accessible from within the vehicle.

With Microsoft Intune integration business users can securely access work accounts and apps while on the move. The system separates personal and business data and supports enterprise-level security standards similar to those used for company smartphones.
