ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that its ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace monitor will be used as the official display for the remaining 2025 BLAST Counter-Strike 2 tournaments. The partnership covers three upcoming events: BLAST Premier Bounty S2 in Malta (5–17 August), BLAST Premier Open S2 in London (27 August–7 September) and BLAST Premier Rivals S2 in Hong Kong (12–16 November).
The monitor is part of the ROG Ace esports range and was made specifically for competitive gaming. It has a 24.1-inch Full HD screen, a very high refresh rate of 610Hz (overclocked) and a response time of 0.1ms. This setup helps reduce delays and improve reaction time, which is important for professional-level esports.
The panel also supports a wide color range and includes technologies to reduce motion blur and screen tearing, such as ELMB 2, G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium. These features make gameplay smoother and visuals clearer.
The monitor stand is smaller than previous ROG models, saving desk space. It also allows adjustments in height, tilt and swivel to suit different player setups. The ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace is priced at USD 899.
