Paytm has announced the appointment of Joel Dsouza as General Manager- Growth.
Joel holds over 10 years of extensive expertise in digital marketing, retention, and CRM across gaming and fintech sectors. Known for building data-led lifecycle marketing strategies, Joel’s appointment signals Paytm’s strategic push to scale user engagement, monetisation, and long-term retention.
Prior to this appointment, Joel spearheaded marketing strategies at Junglee Games as Associate Director – Marketing, where he led retention and CRM for Howzat, which resulted in improvements in ARPU, DACU, and user stickiness.
He also worked at Games24x7 where he worked on developing My11Circle’s engagement strategies, using experimentation, gamification, and cohort-based communication to enhance user loyalty.
Joel has done his MBA in Marketing and certifications in digital communication.
