Honeywell recently shared its plans to assess options for its Productivity Solutions and Se and Warehouse and Workflow Solutions divisions, focusing on transportation, warehouse, and logistics sectors. This move aims to streamline its offerings before the anticipated split into three independent companies by the second half of 2026.

The Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) segment, generating over $1 billion in revenue in 2024, specializes in mobile computers, barcode scanners, and printing solutions for warehouse and logistics operations. The Warehouse and Workflow Solutions (WWS) division, with nearly $1 billion in 2024 revenue, focuses on supply chain and warehouse automation projects, offering systems like sortation, conveyors, robotics and software under the Intelligrated and Transnorm brands.

In addition to these strategic shifts Honeywell has named Jim Masso as the new head of its process automation business. Starting July 14, 2025, Masso will lead as President and CEO of Honeywell Process Automation, leveraging his two decades of experience in energy services, engineering, and operations. His background includes leadership roles at Allied Power Group and General Electric, where he drove innovative solutions within the energy sector.
