Voltas Limited – A TATA Enterprise reported consolidated revenue of ₹4,021 crore for the quarter ending June 2025 down from ₹5,001 crore last year. Net profit dropped to ₹141 crore from ₹335 crore, as unseasonal weather and a mild summer hurt demand for air conditioners. Profit before tax stood at ₹203 crore, compared to ₹452 crore in the same quarter last year.

The Unitary Cooling Products segment, which includes air conditioners, recorded revenue of ₹2,868 crore versus ₹3,802 crore last year, with EBIT falling to ₹104 crore. Despite the slowdown, Voltas retained its market leadership in the AC segment.

VoltasBeko, the company’s home appliances brand, saw strong growth with sales up 33% year-on-year, led by washing machines and direct cool refrigerators.

Electro-Mechanical Projects and Services revenue was ₹922 crore, slightly lower than last year while Engineering Products and Services revenue declined to ₹135 crore.

Management remains confident about long-term growth, citing strong fundamentals, expanding product lines and ongoing investments in innovation and distribution.
