Nokia has partnered with Netplus Broadband a growing internet service provider in India to expand high-speed broadband and IPTV services across Punjab and other regions. The deployment uses Nokia’s 400G routing technology and software-defined access network platform designed to handle increasing demand for video streaming, online education and digital applications.

Through this rollout, nearly two million Netplus users will have access to on-demand IPTV and other high-bandwidth services. Nokia’s solutions include the 7250 Interconnect Routers for broadband aggregation, the 7750 Service Router for network gateway functions and next-generation optical line terminals for fiber-to-the-home connectivity using GPON and XGSPON. These systems create a scalable and energy-efficient network with improved reliability.

The deployment also integrates Nokia’s Altiplano Access Controller, which automates network operations such as diagnostics and orchestration. This helps Netplus accelerate service delivery while lowering energy costs and ensuring long-term scalability.
