Lenovo has entered the world of karting through a multi-year partnership with Gruppo CRG, owner of the Kalì Kart brand. As part of the agreement, Lenovo becomes Technology Partner for the Group and Title Sponsor of the newly named Lenovo Kalì Kart Team, which focuses on developing talented drivers under the age of 16. The collaboration combines Lenovo’s technology with CRG’s racing expertise to enhance kart production and on-track performance.
Lenovo will provide advanced tools such as AI-enabled PCs, workstations, servers and smartphones to support telemetry, simulations, design and remote collaboration. These technologies will be used by engineers and drivers alike, enabling faster data analysis and more efficient development both on and off the track.
The partnership also introduces the Lenovo Kart Academy, aimed at nurturing the next generation of drivers. Participants will benefit from coaching, performance analysis, mental and physical training and management support. The program is designed to prepare young drivers for careers in higher levels of motorsport, including Formula 1.
The Lenovo Kalì Kart Team will debut its new branding at the FIA Karting World Cup in Cremona, Italy on September 28, 2025 marking the start of this collaboration.
