Nikon has announced a silver edition of its Z f full-frame mirrorless camera. The design reflects the look of classic Nikon film cameras while maintaining the performance of a modern full-frame model. This release follows requests from users who wanted more design options.

Along with the new silver finish, Nikon has added three Premium Exterior colors — Cognac Brown, Teal Blue, and Mauve Pink. These options give users more ways to personalize the camera body while keeping the retro-inspired style.

A new Film Grain feature will also be introduced through a firmware update expected in 2025. This tool will let users apply film-like textures to photos and videos, with adjustments for grain size and intensity. When combined with Nikon’s Imaging Recipes and Picture Controls, it allows more flexibility for creative expression.

The silver Z f mirrors Nikon’s ongoing approach of blending heritage design with advanced digital performance, offering photographers both aesthetic variety and practical tools for their work.
