Samsung has announced a major scale-up of its Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) programme in India for 2025, aiming to train 20,000 students in future-tech domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and Coding & Programming. This marks a six-fold increase from 2024 when 3,500 students participated.

The programme will expand from four to ten states, with a particular focus on Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, where 5,000 students each will be trained. Samsung has signed MoUs with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) and the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) both under the NSDC to deliver training through accredited partners.

Participants will gain soft skills training and eligible candidates will receive placement assistance to support employability. Since its India launch in 2022, SIC has trained 6,500 students.
