At IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, LG Electronics unveiled its webOS-based Automotive Content Platform (ACP), reinforcing its leadership in the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) era by transforming cars into immersive, software-driven living spaces. Building on webOS’ success in over 240 million smart TVs worldwide, LG is extending its intuitive and stable user experience to vehicles targeting deployment in 20 million vehicles by 2030.

LG announced two major partnerships to expand ACP’s capabilities. With Xbox, passengers will soon be able to stream hundreds of games directly from the in-vehicle infotainment system via cloud gaming, provided they have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, compatible Bluetooth controller, and internet access. This integration ensures players can carry game progression seamlessly between road and home.

With Zoom, LG ACP becomes a mobile collaboration hub, enabling video conferencing and productivity while maintaining safety and reducing distractions for drivers.

Beyond gaming and meetings ACP supports a wide range of global and local streaming platforms, including Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, LG Channels, TVING and WAVVE with more services such as RakutenTV, Joyn and U-NEXT to follow.
