Amazon Web Services, Qualcomm Technologies and Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) are working together to accelerate the development of SHM’s upcoming AFEELA electric vehicle, expected to launch in 2026. The collaboration combines AWS’s cloud infrastructure with Qualcomm AI100 accelerators to speed up the design and deployment of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Through this setup, SHM can process and analyze vast amounts of driving data more efficiently, reducing months of simulation into weeks. The system supports features like adaptive cruise control, parking assist and piloted driving, all powered by Snapdragon Ride chips. AFEELA will also include 360-degree sensors and AI systems to improve safety, route planning and parking experiences while offering personalized infotainment for passengers.
