i4Networks has deployed Nokia’s optical technology to strengthen data center interconnection services across the Netherlands with plans to expand into neighboring countries. The move supports the rising demand for cloud services, AI workloads, media and financial trading by providing high-capacity and resilient connectivity.

The deployment uses Nokia’s 1830 optical platforms, enabling scalable 100G and 400G connections. These platforms allow data to be rerouted automatically if disruptions occur ensuring reliability and security. A key part of this rollout is i4Networks’ Software Defined Wave Switching (SDWS) which allows customers to activate high-capacity services in days rather than weeks. This flexibility helps organizations respond quickly to changing data needs while moving beyond traditional network setups.
