LG Energy Solution showcased its latest energy storage system (ESS) technologies at RE+ 2025 in Las Vegas from September 8 to 11. Under the theme One stop ESS solutions Engineered, Delivered, Serviced for the North American Market, the company highlighted its fully localized value chain and new product roadmap designed for North American customers.
Key highlights included the JF2 AC/DC LINK system, which can store up to 5.1MWh of energy and allows flexibility between AC and DC output. Manufactured entirely in the U.S., it meets strict safety standards and supports customers with supply stability and eligibility for IRA tax benefits. LG Energy Solution also introduced industry-first prismatic LFP battery prototypes and pouch-type LFP batteries exceeding 500Wh.
The exhibition featured four zones: Grid-Scale Batteries, One Stop ESS Solutions, AI Data Center/UPS, and Home Batteries. The Next Generation UPS Battery was unveiled for AI data centers, providing up to 527kW per cabinet and improved efficiency. For homes, the JF2S battery module was presented, offering 15.9kWh capacity in a compact design suitable for flexible installation.
