Nokia has announced that Telin (Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte Ltd) has selected its optical transport solution to interconnect data centers across Singapore, creating a highly reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient island-wide network. This deployment will strengthen Telin’s ability to deliver low-latency, high-speed interconnections between strategically located data centers, meeting the rising demand for efficient and secure digital infrastructure in Singapore.
The upgraded network leverages Nokia’s 1830 GX compact modular platform, open optical line system, and latest-generation pluggable coherent optical technology. Together, these solutions will enable Telin to enhance connectivity, scale seamlessly with growing bandwidth requirements, and optimize total cost of ownership while providing greater flexibility for enterprise and hyperscaler customers.
