Zebra Technologies has completed its acquisition of Elo Touch Solutions, expanding its focus on customer-facing and connected frontline operations across industries such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, and manufacturing. Elo, known for its touchscreen and self-service solutions, was previously majority-owned by funds managed by Crestview Partners. The acquisition is expected to add about $8 billion to Zebra’s addressable market.
Elo’s portfolio includes interactive displays, POS systems, and self-serve kiosks used in quick-service restaurants, retail stores, and industrial environments. These solutions support growing demand for automation and digital engagement amid ongoing labor shortages.
Elo’s technology enables modular and accessible systems that integrate with existing enterprise workflows, reducing ownership costs and improving long-term support.
