Ambrane India is looking for an Audio Testing Engineer to join its product testing and development team. The role focuses on testing and improving the performance of Ambrane’s audio products like Bluetooth speakers, neckbands, TWS earbuds, earphones, and soundbars.

Role Overview

The Audio Testing Engineer will handle functional, performance, and reliability testing of audio devices. The person will use audio analysis tools, collaborate with R&D and design teams, and help ensure every product meets Ambrane’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Test and validate the performance of audio products including speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and Bluetooth systems
Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for audio quality checks
Use testing tools such as Audio Precision, MATLAB, LabVIEW, SoundCheck, and REW for performance measurements
Identify and report defects, and work with hardware and software teams to fix issues
Use both manual and automated testing to improve testing accuracy and speed
Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to enhance reliability and sound quality
Stay updated on the latest audio testing techniques and technologies

Skills and Qualifications

B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in audio testing and validation (freshers can also apply)
Hands-on experience with manual soldering (T/H and SMD components) and DSO (Digital Storage Oscilloscope)
Good understanding of audio measurement tools such as Audio Precision and SoundCheck
Strong knowledge of electronic components, signal processing, and acoustic systems
Familiarity with Bluetooth, DSP, and codec testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation abilities
