Lenovo has strengthened its sustainability initiatives by partnering with Rejoose, an IT carbon data platform, becoming the first global IT hardware vendor to integrate product-level carbon emissions data across its portfolio. This collaboration allows Lenovo to provide customers and partners with precise, validated carbon information, supporting data-driven procurement decisions aligned with net-zero goals. By directly syndicating emissions data via Rejoose’s platform, Lenovo ensures faster and more accurate delivery of carbon insights, reducing reliance on manual research and AI estimations. This also eases reporting pressure for organizations during year-end audits and enhances decision-making at the point of purchase.

The partnership expands Rejoose’s direct data coverage of IT products from 3% to 11%, enabling organizations to access verified environmental impact information efficiently. Lenovo’s collaboration underscores its commitment to measurable climate action, while Rejoose accelerates the IT industry’s shift toward integrated and automated carbon reporting. Customers benefit from increased transparency, allowing them to optimize procurement for both environmental and financial impact.

Virginie Le Barbu, Lenovo’s Global Sustainability Director, emphasized that transparency drives meaningful climate action, while Rejoose’s Chief Commercial Officer, Matthew Ruskin, highlighted the importance of automating access to validated carbon data for smarter business decisions. Together, Lenovo and Rejoose are empowering organizations to make sustainable choices and accelerate progress toward net-zero objectives.
