Dell Technologies has expanded its Dell Reconnect program through a new partnership with The Salvation Army in Las Vegas, coinciding with International E-Waste Day. Building on a 20-year collaboration with Goodwill Industries, which has already diverted over 650 million pounds of e-waste from landfills since 2004, the initiative aims to make electronics recycling easier and more accessible.
The new Las Vegas pilot adds multiple Salvation Army drop-off locations, allowing residents to responsibly recycle their used computers, monitors, printers, and accessories regardless of brand or condition free of charge. Participants are encouraged to wipe personal data before donating, and contributions may qualify for tax deductions.
Beyond recycling, the partnership supports The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers, which offer emotional support, counseling, and job training for individuals in need. In 2024 alone, these centers in Southern Nevada helped 407 people rebuild their lives.
Dell continues to expand its global recycling ecosystem through initiatives such as trade-in programs and free mail-back services across 41 countries. By strengthening collaborations and encouraging responsible disposal, Dell Reconnect reinforces Dell Technologies’ commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles—helping keep valuable materials in use and reducing electronic waste worldwide.
