Garmin has been named the top company in the 2025 EPIC Awards by Soundings Trade Only for the third consecutive year, recognizing its innovation and leadership in the marine industry. The EPIC Awards standing for Exceptional, Purposeful, Innovative, and Compassionate celebrate companies that are transforming marine technology, sustainability, and workplace culture.
In addition to the top honor, Garmin also received the Work Culture Award for fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment that prioritizes employee well-being and collaboration. The announcement took place at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference on October 8, 2025.
Garmin Vice President and Marine Segment Leader, Jarrod Seymour, expressed gratitude to the publication and credited the company’s success to its commitment to innovation, integrity, and teamwork. The judging panel, comprising editors and industry experts, commended Garmin for its continuous technological advancements and its strong focus on people and purpose.
This marks Garmin’s eighth consecutive year being recognized among the Top 5 Innovative Marine Companies, reinforcing its reputation for driving progress in marine electronics. Alongside this, Garmin has also been named Manufacturer of the Year by the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) for the 11th year in a row.
