Garmin, the global leader in marine electronics, has received the 2025 National Boating Safety Award from the Sea Tow Foundation for the fifth consecutive year. The award, presented in collaboration with the Boating Safety Advisory Council, recognizes companies that actively promote safe and responsible boating practices. Garmin earned top honors in the Gear, Equipment, and Accessories Manufacturer category for its educational initiatives during National Safe Boating Week 2025, which included blog posts, presentations, e-mail campaigns, and social media outreach focused on boating safety awareness.

Susan Lyman, Garmin’s Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the company’s long-standing commitment to helping boaters, anglers, and sailors stay safe through innovation. Garmin’s extensive marine portfolio — including inReach® satellite communicators, AIS monitoring, VHF radio systems, marine radars, and charting tools — enhances situational awareness and communication at sea.

Sea Tow Foundation Executive Director Gail R. Kulp praised Garmin’s consistent dedication to boating safety, noting its continued positive impact on the community. With over a decade of recognition from the National Marine Electronics Association as Manufacturer of the Year, Garmin continues to set industry benchmarks for safety, quality, and innovation in marine technology.
