Premier Energies Limited and Syrma SGS Technology Limited have acquired 100% of KSolare Energy Private Limited, a solar inverter manufacturer, in a 51:49 partnership for INR 170 crore. KSolare, founded over 13 years ago, reported FY 2025 revenue of INR 342 crore and operates a Pune facility with an annual capacity of 500,000 inverters. It produces a variety of on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid inverters for the residential segment.

The acquisition marks the two companies’ entry into India’s growing residential solar inverter market, aligned with the government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. Plans include establishing a brownfield facility in Pune to double production to one million inverters per year. The combined venture will leverage Premier Energies’ sales and distribution network and Syrma SGS’s electronics manufacturing expertise. Sunil Sinnarkar, KSolare’s founder, will serve as Executive Director to ensure continuity.

The partnership aims to strengthen domestic manufacturing and expand access to high-quality, Indian-made inverters. The collaboration is expected to support India’s clean energy goals and make reliable inverter solutions more widely available to residential rooftops.
