Daikin Industries, Ltd. has received the Good Design Award 2025 for three entries the “Wired Remote Controller” for Europe, the “Ice Cool Spot” Rest Area at Expo 2025 Osaka, and the “AIR CREATOR” brand for residential retail products and services in Southeast Asia.

The Wired Remote Controller, set for European release in 2026, was recognized for its intuitive hybrid design combining touch and physical controls, simple icon-based interface, and sleek styling suited for offices and hotels. The Ice Cool Spot, inspired by traditional icehouses, uses solar power and ice thermal storage technology to create a naturally cooled, open rest area with a wood lattice structure that harmonizes with the environment.

Meanwhile, the AIR CREATOR brand integrates air conditioners and purifiers through a connected app to tailor indoor air environments. Its cohesive, minimalist design ensures seamless blending into various interiors.
