Royal Philips has announced a 10-year strategic collaboration with Hoag, Orange County’s top-ranked hospital, to modernize and unify patient monitoring systems across Hoag’s healthcare network. The initiative will be implemented in Hoag’s two acute care hospitals, including the upcoming Sun Family Campus in Irvine, set to open in 2026 with 155 new beds.
Under this partnership, Hoag will adopt Philips’ Enterprise Monitoring as a Service (EMaaS) model, incorporating IntelliVue MX750 bedside monitors, X3 transport monitors, and the Patient Information Center (PIC iX) system. Together, these technologies will create a connected, scalable monitoring ecosystem designed to enhance patient safety, workflow efficiency, and clinical decision-making through real-time data and advanced analytics.
The collaboration ensures clinicians gain continuous visibility into patients’ conditions, improving care coordination and early intervention while providing a seamless experience for patients as they move between care settings. By integrating with Hoag’s electronic health record (EHR) system, the solution supports adaptable, data-driven care.
