Samsung Electronics has completed the acquisition of FläktGroup, Europe’s largest HVAC company, marking a major step in expanding its presence in the global heating, ventilation, and air conditioning market. The acquisition includes all of FläktGroup’s subsidiaries such as Woods Air Movement, SEMCO, and SE-Elektronic, which specialize in ventilation, air handling, and automation systems.

FläktGroup will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary under its existing name and management to maintain its brand identity and technical expertise. Samsung plans to integrate FläktGroup’s advanced HVAC technologies with its AI platforms and building management systems like SmartThings Pro and b.IoT to deliver more efficient and connected solutions.

The acquisition supports Samsung’s strategy to grow its HVAC and data center operations within the Device eXperience (DX) Division. With increasing demand for large-scale air conditioning systems across industrial, healthcare, and data center sectors, Samsung aims to build a stronger global supply chain and service network.
