Globe Telecom has entered a multi-year strategic agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate its digital transformation and enhance customer experience across telecommunications and digital platforms in the Philippines. The collaboration focuses on cloud infrastructure modernization, AI-led customer experience transformation, and network innovation. Globe will expand its cloud footprint to strengthen network resiliency, improve disaster recovery, and modernize platform engineering.
Through AWS’s cloud and AI technologies, Globe aims to improve customer experiences by advancing its B2B systems, enhancing digital services such as GOMO, and implementing new consent and preference management features for personalization. The partnership will also support real-time operations with advanced data streaming and campaign management capabilities. AI-powered tools, including a customer voicebot built on AWS’s AI platform, will further optimize customer lifecycle and value management.
According to Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz, the partnership will enable faster innovation and more personalized digital experiences for customers. AWS Philippines Country Manager Precious Lim highlighted Globe’s role in advancing cloud-enabled customer experiences. This agreement reinforces Globe’s commitment to expanding digital inclusion, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving innovation across its network and service portfolio using AWS’s compute, storage, and AI capabilities.
