Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi Building Systems have launched HMAX for Building: BuilMirai, a new as-a-service digital solution developed with GlobalLogic. Based on Hitachi’s Lumada platform, BuilMirai aims to enhance the value of buildings by combining digitalized assets, AI, and real-world knowledge to support a balanced society focused on environment, well-being, and economic growth.

The service connects building users and maintenance staff through real-time data from equipment and human activity, improving efficiency, safety, and comfort. The first module, focused on entry and exit management, will launch in Japan in October. It allows flexible scaling, user-specific access control, and customizable dashboards for building managers.

BuilMirai helps address workforce shortages by enabling centralized, cloud-based remote management across multiple properties. It will continue to expand with new features to enhance sustainability, energy efficiency, and occupant experience.
