Leaders from LG Electronics, LG Display, LG Energy Solution and LG Innotek met with executives from Mercedes-Benz AG in Seoul to discuss deeper collaboration through LG’s One LG Solution strategy. The meeting took place during Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius’s visit to Korea and focused on supporting the automaker’s plans for next-generation mobility, including EV development and a more digital, flexible production network.
LG Group companies presented their latest solutions in EV components, batteries, displays and autonomous driving sensors, aiming to further integrate their technologies for future Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The partnership already includes work on software-defined vehicles, in-vehicle infotainment and driver assistance systems, highlighted by the OLED panoramic display co-developed for the Mercedes-Benz EQS.
LG Display supplies Plastic OLED panels for MBUX Hyperscreen systems, while LG Energy Solution continues its battery partnership for Mercedes-Benz’s electric lineup. LG Innotek is exploring expanded cooperation on vehicle camera modules, LiDAR and radar.
