Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) and Microsoft are expanding their collaboration to develop an AI-enabled “superagent” designed to streamline operations and support employees across corporate, retail, and warehouse functions. Built using Azure AI and embedded within Microsoft Teams, the orchestrator agent connects multiple behind-the-scenes subagents, allowing employees to ask questions and receive responses through one interface.

LS&Co. is integrating Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Semantic Kernel as part of its shift toward a direct-to-consumer operating model. These tools are intended to improve decision-making, increase productivity, and enhance consumer engagement. The company is also adopting Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs running Windows 11 to support complex workloads, with employees reporting improvements in speed and reliability. Intune simplifies device management, while GitHub Copilot assists Levi’s development teams across engineering and release processes.

As part of its cloud transformation, LS&Co. is migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure using Azure Migrate and GitHub Copilot. The move supports the company’s zero-trust security model and enables it to scale AI-driven initiatives globally. Both companies highlight the partnership as an example of how established brands can integrate cloud and AI technologies to modernize operations and serve consumers more effectively.
