Fujitsu named Emerging Leader in Gartner’s Generative AI Engineering quadrant

Fujitsu has been recognized as an Emerging Leader in the Gartner Emerging Market Quadrant for Generative AI Engineering. It remains the only Japan-headquartered company to receive this recognition since March 2025. The assessment highlights Fujitsu’s long history in AI research, its ability to deploy AI at scale and its work across industries such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare and public safety. The company has more than 7,000 AI use cases globally.

In recent years Fujitsu has consolidated its AI capabilities under Uvance, its business model focused on solving societal issues. This includes the cloud based AI service Fujitsu Kozuchi and the Fujitsu Data Intelligence PaaS platform, which supports data driven decision making and operational workflows.
Fujitsu said the recognition reflects the industry’s view of its AI strategy, its focus on domain specific solutions and its flexible pricing approach. The company plans to continue integrating advanced analytics and AI into customer operations through Uvance to drive business growth and address social challenges.
