LG Electronics has announced a major update to LG Channels, its free, ad-supported streaming service. The platform now features a refreshed logo, an upgraded user interface, and expanded personalization tools aimed at improving content discovery and overall usability. LG Channels, which began in Korea in 2015 and now operates in 33 countries, provides access to over 4,000 channels through LG Smart TVs.

The new visual identity highlights the service’s global reach and viewer-friendly approach. The enhanced UI offers faster navigation, personalized content suggestions, and a new “quick access” feature that lets users check program details, guides, favorites, and trending content without leaving their current screen. Advanced AI recommendations further tailor the experience based on viewing habits.

LG is also rolling out region-specific features to reflect local needs. In the U.S., viewers can set reminders for upcoming shows; European users gain multi-audio options for quick language selection; and Middle Eastern markets receive right-to-left UI support. These updates aim to make the platform more adaptable and intuitive across diverse audiences.

As part of its continued growth, LG Channels will extend to new regions including the UAE, Poland, and Taiwan, reinforcing LG’s commitment to accessible and personalized streaming experiences.
