Whirlpool Corporation is hiring a Manager – GeM to lead its business operations on the Government e-Marketplace and manage CPC and CSD channels for consumer electronics. The role focuses on driving government sales, managing tenders, ensuring compliance, and strengthening relationships with institutional buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute strategies to grow sales and market share on the GeM platform
- Track and bid on tenders including Reverse Auctions, Bunch Bids, and Custom Bids
- Manage product listings, catalog updates, pricing, and compliance documentation on GeM
- Ensure all certifications and OEM authorizations are complete and accurate
- Monitor competitor activity and maintain competitive pricing
- Act as the key contact for government buyers across ministries, PSUs, and autonomous bodies
- Own the entire order-to-cash cycle from CRAC to payment realization
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, finance, and technical teams for smooth execution
- Resolve customer issues and support post-sales coordination
Requirements
- Strong understanding of GeM processes and government procurement
- Experience in consumer electronics and institutional sales is preferred
- Ability to manage cross-functional coordination and documentation
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
