Xbox is expanding cloud gaming to reach more players across console, PC and mobile, offering greater flexibility in how people play. Xbox reports a strong rise in cloud gaming usage, with Game Pass subscribers streaming 45 percent more hours than last year. Console players are also tuning in more often with increased usage across both console and other connected devices.
Earlier this month Xbox Cloud Gaming launched in India which has now crossed 500 million gamers. With this addition the service is available in 29 countries. Xbox is also seeing strong momentum in Argentina and Brazil where cloud play time and active users are growing. Players in these regions can also stream through the Xbox app on LG TVs and Amazon Fire TV. To support demand Xbox has increased server capacity in several regions to reduce wait times and provide smoother play sessions.
Cloud gaming gives players the ability to stream titles on devices they already own including consoles PCs handhelds mobiles tablets Smart TVs Fire TV and VR headsets. The library includes hundreds of Game Pass titles and many more through the Stream your own game catalog. Multiple Game Pass plans now include cloud gaming access.
