Logitech is hiring a Senior Hardware QA Engineer to join its new Test Automation team in Chennai. The role focuses on building and improving Python-based automation frameworks, validating embedded systems, and ensuring high-quality performance across consumer electronics products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development, deployment, and maintenance of Python test automation frameworks
• Write clean, efficient Python code using pytest or unittest
• Debug and troubleshoot Python and C code for automation tools
• Build OS-level test tools and end-to-end system automation
• Integrate AI-based testing solutions when useful
• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth
• Validate embedded software and hardware for consumer devices
• Work with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, USB analysers, power supplies, and meters

Requirements

• 5+ years of Python development and 3+ years in embedded systems testing
• Strong skills in Python, C, and embedded system validation
• Hands-on experience with sensors, motors, actuators, and hardware components
• Knowledge of protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Bluetooth, and Ethernet
• Experience with multi-threading and client-server communication
• Familiar with AI-supported testing workflows
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus
