Garmin has published its 2025 Garmin Connect Data Report, outlining activity and wellness trends observed across its global user community. The report captures year-over-year changes in recorded activities, stress scores, sleep patterns, step counts and Body Battery levels. Users logged more activities than in 2024, with noticeable increases across racket sports, HIIT sessions, Pilates, strength training and indoor running. Diving and hiking activity also rose within the platform.
The health and wellness section highlights variations in stress scores by gender and geography, with Indonesia showing higher averages and the Netherlands showing lower averages. Sleep scores saw a slight improvement, averaging 71 across users. Body Battery levels varied by age group, with younger users generally showing higher averages. Portugal recorded higher energy levels on average, while Japan showed lower averages. Daily step counts increased, with Hong Kong leading in average steps taken.
Age-based patterns in preferred activities also appeared, including outdoor running among users aged 18–29, indoor cycling among those in their fifties and golfing among users above 70. Garmin Connect+ users can access a personalized annual summary through the Garmin Connect Rundown feature. The report also references compatible Garmin devices and provides organizational details regarding Garmin International and its corporate structure.
