Motorola has announced the moto g power 2026 positioning it as a mid range smartphone designed for long battery life durability and everyday performance. The device features a 6.8 inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness mode aimed at improving outdoor visibility. Audio is supported through stereo speakers with Hi Res Audio and Dolby Atmos.
Durability is a key focus of the device. The phone has been tested against multiple MIL STD 810H standards and includes IP68 and IP69 water protection along with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Motorola states this combination is intended to handle drops moisture and temperature variations commonly encountered in daily use.
The moto g power 2026 is powered by a 5200 mAh battery that is rated to last up to two days on a single charge. It supports 30W fast charging and includes battery health and usage management features. On the camera side the device uses a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, supported by an 8MP ultrawide and macro lens and a 32MP front camera. AI based tools assist with night photography portraits and image optimization.
The phone runs Android 16 out of the box and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 5G support. Availability in the US begins January 8 with broader carrier rollout to follow.
