Google has announced the Pixel Upgrade Program in India, introducing a new ownership option designed to make Pixel phones more accessible and easier to upgrade over time. The program allows eligible customers to purchase Pixel 10 series devices through no cost monthly EMIs starting at ₹3,333 per month.
Customers who buy an eligible Pixel device using participating partners Bajaj Finance or HDFC Bank credit cards can enroll in a 24 month no cost EMI plan. After completing nine monthly payments and before paying the fifteenth EMI, users become eligible to upgrade to a newer Pixel model. The upgrade process includes an assured buyback of the existing Pixel phone.
When upgrading, customers can trade in their current device through Cashify. If the phone powers on and has no unauthorized repairs, the remaining loan amount is credited to the user’s bank account and can be used to close the existing loan. A new 24 month EMI plan then begins for the upgraded Pixel device.
The program also includes additional benefits such as an exchange bonus of up to ₹7,000 and trial access to Google services like Google AI Pro Fitbit Premium and YouTube Premium depending on the model. Google says the program is aimed at offering flexibility predictable costs and simpler upgrades for Indian customers.
