K Anand Raman has been appointed Vice President at JioStar. He brings more than two decades of experience across the media and entertainment sector. Before joining JioStar he spent close to 18 years at Disney Star. His most recent role was Director and earlier he held positions such as Assistant Vice President, Regional Sales Head, Advertising Sales Manager and Group Head. During this time he worked with channels like STAR Maa SD, STAR Maa HD, STAR Maa Music, STAR Movies, National Geographic Network and FOX Life. His work focused on business planning, revenue strategy and leading large teams.
Earlier in his career he worked at Radio City India, Chitralekha Group, Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd and IB and W Communications Private Limited. These roles gave him experience across radio, print, television and media planning.
