Samsung Electronics has announced its 2026 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, introducing five new models focused on higher resolution, faster refresh rates and new display formats. The range includes a 6K glasses free 3D monitor, a high refresh rate competitive gaming display and multiple high resolution options under the Odyssey G8 series. These monitors are designed for gamers and creators who want smoother motion, clearer detail and flexible performance modes.
The 32 inch Odyssey 3D G90XH is the first monitor to combine 6K resolution with glasses free 3D. It uses real time eye tracking to adjust depth based on viewer position. The display supports a 165Hz refresh rate that can switch to 330Hz using Dual Mode and a 1ms response time. Samsung is working with game studios to optimise 3D effects in supported PC titles.
The 27 inch Odyssey G6 G60H targets competitive gaming with a refresh rate that reaches 1,040Hz through Dual Mode and native QHD support up to 600Hz. It supports both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible for smooth gameplay.
The Odyssey G8 series expands with three models. These include a 32 inch 6K version, a 27 inch 5K version and a 32 inch OLED model with 4K QD OLED, 240Hz refresh rate and DisplayPort 2.1 support. All G8 models support adaptive sync technologies and offer different balances of resolution and speed.
According to IDC, Samsung continues to lead the global gaming monitor market for displays above 144Hz. The full lineup will be shown at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9.
