Samsung Electronics plans to bring Google Photos to its Samsung AI TV lineup starting in 2026. The goal is to let users view and enjoy personal photos and memories on a large screen, turning the TV into a shared space for revisiting everyday moments, trips and family experiences.
Samsung TVs are expected to be the first to launch Google Photos features on television. The rollout will begin in early 2026 with the Memories feature, followed later in the year by Create with AI and Personalized Results. Users will be able to sign in with their Google account and access their photo libraries directly on the TV without a complex setup.
With this integration, photos stored on phones can appear on Samsung TVs in a larger format. Memories will be curated by people, places and key moments. Google Photos will also connect with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, allowing photos to surface naturally across features like Daily+ and Daily Board during the day.
Three main experiences are planned. Memories will launch first and will be exclusive to Samsung TVs for six months, showing curated photo stories on TV for the first time. Create with AI will arrive later in 2026, offering themed templates powered by Google DeepMind’s image tools, including options to change art styles or turn photos into short videos. Personalized Results will also launch later, showing slideshows based on themes such as travel locations or activities.
The partnership aims to make the TV a central place for browsing photo libraries, revisiting past moments and sharing memories at home in a simple and accessible way.
